Reflecting on the experience, Jonny said:
“Looking back, I couldn’t be happier with my performance. Training hard and preparing properly really do come to fruition. Practising on the rigs and obstacles beforehand took a lot of the pressure off and let me flow ahead of the competition.”
Jonny’s year has been full of dedication and international racing. Earlier in 2025 he competed in Sweden at Tough Viking and Tors Trophy, which gave him valuable time on many of the obstacles later featured in the championship. That preparation proved invaluable on race day.
Securing first place at the OCR European Championships earlier this season and now at the OCRWC has inspired Jonny to aim even higher.
“Next year I’m looking at racing in the Elite Division, with the best of the best from around the world,” Jonny shared. “This is the start of the International Elite chapter of my OCR racing journey.”
Jonny’s determination, focus, and passion make him a superb ambassador for the Stannite community. We can’t wait to watch the next stage of his obstacle-racing adventure.
Thank you for sharing!
