After reading an article in The Telegraph written by Peter Hogan, our Chair of Governors, Geoff was so moved by the school’s story and values that he decided to get in touch. Travelling all the way from the south of England, Geoff made the journey to Windermere to see the school for himself.
During his visit, he shared his admiration for the school’s ethos, its stunning setting, and the opportunities it provides for young people to learn, grow and thrive. He went on to make an incredible financial donation in support of our ongoing work - a gesture that deeply touched everyone who met him.
We are profoundly grateful for Geoff’s kindness and for the belief he has shown in Windermere School’s mission. His generosity is a powerful reminder of how our story continues to resonate with people far beyond our community, inspiring others to help shape the future of our pupils.
“We were deeply moved by Geoff’s generosity and by his heartfelt belief in what Windermere stands for. His visit was a wonderful reminder of the power of connection and the lasting impact our school can have.”
