During her visit, Anna spoke about the lasting influence of Round Square on her life and the values it instilled in her during her time at school. She shared how the principles of service, leadership, responsibility and international understanding helped shape her outlook on the world and played a significant role in her decision to go on and establish her own charity.
Anna’s reflection offered pupils a powerful insight into how the experiences and values gained at Windermere School can continue to guide and inspire long after leaving. Hearing directly from former pupils about their journeys beyond school is always impactful, and Anna’s story provided a meaningful example of how a commitment to service can grow into purposeful action.
We are extremely grateful to Anna for returning to school and taking the time to share her experiences with our pupils. Her visit was a reminder of the strength of the Stannite community and the positive impact our alumni continue to have in the wider world.
Thank you for sharing!
