On Saturday, we had the great pleasure of welcoming back members of the Class of 1983 to Windermere School for a very special afternoon tea reunion.
The group began with a guided tour of the Browhead campus, where familiar corridors and classrooms evoked waves of shared memories, laughter, and the occasional emotional moment. As they retraced their steps through the school grounds, stories flowed and friendships rekindled as though no time had passed at all.
Following the tour, the group gathered in our beautifully set dining room for a relaxed and joyful afternoon tea. The atmosphere was full of warmth, energy, and meaningful connection—proof that the Stannite spirit remains strong, even decades after graduation.
Moments like these remind us that Windermere School is more than a place of education—it’s a community for life.
If you are part of a Stannite year group interested in organising your own reunion, we would be delighted to host you. Afternoon teas and tours can be arranged, giving you a wonderful chance to reconnect with old friends and revisit the place where it all began.

Once a Stannite, always a Stannite.
Thank you for sharing!
